What it is:
The application for milk collection is designed to work in direct collaboration with your ERP.
In your ERP you already have tank routes, collection stations (ice packs) with the different types of milk, producers , as well as drivers or tanks. The application is cloud based, is informative and is designed to inform executives involved in the milk market.
Also available in individual version (to inform the producer).
The milk collection system consists of 3 parts:
1.Milk Collection:
The milk collectors, equipped with a handheld terminal (pda) and a portable printer, are able to record each milk receipt. They also print on the spot the document granted to the producers. Using a 4G connection, the terminal informs E.R.P. in real time. Alternatively, the terminal will update as soon as it is connected to the internet. Upon receipt of the milk, the collector will take samples from each receiving point. These samples will be used in the chemistry.
2.Chemistry:
During the delivery of the milk to the factory, on the delivery note the tank's samples from the apartments are recorded. The samples delivered to the chemist are anonymous and are marked by the barcode of their label. The results of the chemical tests are linked to the corresponding receipts when they are transferred to the E.R.P. (process that depends on the equipment of the chemist). For mixed milks (goat and sheep) special care has been taken to normalize the samples.
This is followed by the export of the monthly weight quality sample per producer on the basis of which (and the agreement with the producer) the milk purchase invoices are issued. (On the right you can see images from the chemistry management program)
Special samples:
After recording the results of the chemistry for these samples, correlation is made with the qualitative characteristics of all the receipts of the tank for agreement (to check for any fraud). A special B.I. report checks the compatibility of the samples of the tank with the samples taken in the specific route.
(Samples can also be taken from products and combined with batches and maturation phases. The process followed is similar to the one described above for the receipt of raw material.)
3.Producer and tank management:
Producers are listed as suppliers to ERP. In the same table are registered the ice packs and the tanks with characteristic codes. The application undertakes to connect each milk tank with the producers who deliver milk to the specific truck and with the specific type of milk. So, with the last piece of our system, you can have aggregate statements for producers, including older prices, quantities, quality features and more. Finally, the management part can be used by the producers themselves. They can see all the milk deliveries, as well as their respective prices and quality characteristics.
