
What it is:
The system of computerization and control of each production company is a strategic choice. The creation and use of a modern system is based on previous experiences, specific requirements and goals. Knowing the needs of a sorting machine, we have implemented an application that covers all stages of the production process and fully meets the requirements for traceability imposed by both developments and legislation.
The application is based on the RAM Retail platform and integrates easily with your E.R.P. system.
More specifically:
Upon the raw material's arrival, the vehicle approaches the weighbridge, which is directly connected to the application (if the installation does not have a weighbridge, the information is entered manually), where the measurements are recorded, as well as how they are transported (cages, crates etc.). Upon receipt , the weights are automatically issued , the product labels and the receipt documents. At the same time, all the data that must follow each batch are recorded, such as the quality characteristics of the collection batch, the source information, comments, remarks, etc. Additionally, the balance sheet (weighing diary) is issued whenever requested by the application.
During the product's sorting process, the information and results are recorded based on the weighting marking issued upon receipt of the product. The input method is either automatic and accurate by connecting the sorting mechanism to the computer , or by sample or manual.
In the last stage of sorting, packaging and marking, the application produces labels which include all the information necessary for the traceability of the products.
The production of these labels requires a system of printers, placed in the workplaces where the final packaging of the product takes place. The information that will be printed each time and in each job is determined by the system administrator, depending on the need for labeling, eg the product, size, customer. Printing is done when the sorter prepares the final packaging and press a switch, which instructs the system to print.
It is possible to place weighing equipment in each final packaging position, along with a label printer. In this case, with the press of the switch, the package is automatically weighed (weight during packaging) before the label is printed, information that can be written on the label if selected by the administrator.
In the final packaged product, the label information will be the one that will inform anyone interested in the contents of the package, the quality, the quantity, and anything else that the manager has chosen to be visible. The number that follows the batch is also printed on the label, serving the traceability process. It is possible to produce a barcode on each label, for easier reading and recording of each package (eg EAN 128). Reading the barcode will immediately display all the information about the contents of each package.
